Dear Parents,
We'd like to tell you about a workshop coming this October that we feel would be useful and very relevant in having a deeper understanding of your child's health and development. Waldorf early childhood education pioneers, Bella and Jake Tan will facilitate a one-and-a-half day workshop, Raising a Healthy Generation: Adult Health begins in Childhood, that addresses the issues around childhood illnesses, and how the life choices that are made for children impact adult health.
The workshop will be held Oct 20-21 and the schedule is as follows:
Day One, October 20

2:00 Lecture: Reforming the Inherited Body (Fevering, Childhood Illnesses)

Day Two, October 21
9:00 Lecture: Dreamy Consciousness of the Child (Play & Toys, Imagination & Phantasy)

11:00 Role of the Adult in Nurturing the Child

Bella continues to be a mentor and consultant for ST MICHAEL PLAYHOUSE. Jake, an anthroposophic doctor, has just published his second book, Healing Ourselves from Medicine: How Anthroposophy can Save your Life.
The workshop, produced by the Institute for Steiner's Ideas in Practice (ISIP) Philippines, will be held in the lush and peaceful Prado Farms in Lubao, Pampanga. This workshop is one of the many events happening this October, in celebration of Rudolf Steiner's 150th birth anniversary. More details about other events may be found here.
